SABR Analytics Conference/Baseball Industry Network Cactus League Meet-Up
The Baseball Industry Network is teaming up with SABR (the Society of American Baseball Research) on Thursday, March 7th at 7:30 pm for their welcome reception at the upcoming second annual SABR Analytics Conference to be held in downtown Phoenix, Arizona March 7-9 at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown. The welcome reception will feature food, drinks and great opportunities to network with baseball professionals and other attendees from the conference.

SABR is also hosting the Diamond Dollars Case Competition as part of the conference which allows students to present their case results/recommendations of a baseball ops case to a panel of judges which include some team executives. The cost of the Baseball Industry Network Cactus League Meet-Up is $30 to attend but if you are attending the SABR Analytics Conference your admission is included in the cost of the conference and you do not need to register again separately here. Also, if you are also coming out to Phoenix for the World Baseball Classic (to be held at Salt River Fields and Chase Field March 7-10) this is a great event to add to your itinerary.

Baseball Industry Network
The Baseball Industry Network is a networking group open to individuals working in and/or connected to the baseball industry. The group covers the full gamut of people working throughout the game (executives and staff at the major league and minor league level, MLB employees, scouts, coaches, agents, baseball writers and bloggers, baseball related manufacturers and equipment companies, current and former professional players, etc.). Industry professionals are encouraged to network with fellow professionals and share their experiences working in the game of baseball with those trying to break into the industry. One of the goals of the network is to educate and potentially develop mentoring relationships between those currently in the industry with individuals attempting to either advance within or enter the industry.
